The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) announced its positive decision on concerted practices by way of establishing of the Television Industry Committee, a non-for-profit association, which was created by five leading Ukrainian television stations.

Ms. Galina Zagorodnyuk, an associate with Konnov & Sozanovsky, successfully represented the Television Industry Committee before the AMCU.

About Television Industry Committee
The Television Industry Committee (TIC) was established by five leading television stations: Inter, 1+1, Novy, STB and ICTV having about 70 % of the market, together with three leading advertising agencies: Starcom MediaVest Group, Initiative Media and PROVID/BBDO having more than 40 % of the Ukrainian market of television advertising. The purposes of TIC are the following: promoting the development of television market in Ukraine; legislative initiatives and organization of the balanced system of social research of TV-auditorium of Ukraine.
